Sax Coach Terms of Use
1. Acceptance and Apple EULA
By downloading or using Sax Coach, developed by Vitor Ribeiro (individual developer, Brazil), you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to the app. Where they conflict, Apple's EULA prevails for the matters it covers.
2. The service
Sax Coach teaches saxophone with lessons, interactive sheet music and note detection through the microphone. The free tier includes, forever: the Fundamentals course (11 lessons), journey unit 1, 4 songs, the tuner and the fingering chart. Sax Coach Premium unlocks the full journey (6 units), all songs, Hero mode, PDF/photo/MusicXML import, smart practice and the daily challenge.
3. Sax Coach Premium subscription
- Annual auto-renewable subscription. The price is shown in the app before purchase, in your storefront's currency.
- 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the annual subscription is charged automatically.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or when the free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings > [your name] Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
4. Sheet music bought in the store
Sheet music sold in the store is licensed from its rights holders. A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to study and play the work in the app, for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, publish, resell, or use the sheet music for paid public performances or commercial recordings under this license. Purchases refunded or revoked by Apple no longer give access to the content.
5. Files you import
You may only import PDFs, photos or MusicXML files of content you have the right to use (your own works, public-domain works or properly licensed works). You are responsible for what you import. Files uploaded for conversion are deleted right after processing (see the Privacy Policy). Automatic conversion may contain errors.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to copy, decompile or circumvent the protections of the app or store, or overload the conversion server.
7. Disclaimers
The app is a practice tool and does not replace a teacher. Note detection and sheet-music conversion may be inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and our liability is limited as set out in Apple's EULA. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may change these Terms or app features; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact: contato@saxcoach.app.
